Explore Jade Leaf: Farm-Direct Organic Japanese Matcha
Crafted by a Thriving Network of Family-Run Tea Farms
Jade Leaf Matcha is produced by the Kizuna Tea Collective - a thriving network of family-run tea farms across Japan. They have supplied Japan's domestic market with high-quality matcha since 1858.
What Makes Our Products Unique?
Our tea masters, Morita-san and Shimooka-san, are among the most decorated, with a combined 100+ years of experience. They bring together hand-selected tea leaves from each harvest to create a unique, well-rounded flavor profile.
Proud of Our Partnerships
We're proud of the relationships we've built along the way with our partner tea farmers and our customers. It's exciting to help people enjoy matcha in a variety of ways - purely, organically, and without breaking the bank.
Farm-Direct Organic Matcha from Japan
Our matcha is sourced directly from the Uji and Kagoshima regions of Japan, where family-owned partner farms fuse traditional and modern techniques to cultivate leaves brimming with flavor and nutrients.
100% USDA Organic Certification
True, authentic Japanese matcha that is certified organic is still in extremely scarce supply (less than 1% of Japanese tea farms are certified!) - and we have carefully formed partnerships with the preeminent farms to provide the best quality organic matcha.
Tested for Integrity
We test our products both at the farms where they are grown and by third-party laboratories in the U.S. Our quality standards were developed through a combination of state and federal guidelines, as well as consultation with scientific research and analysis.
Passionate Farmers, Traditional Techniques
Our matcha is shade-grown for 3-4 weeks prior to harvest to boost nutrient content, selectively picked with stems and veins removed to improve texture and taste, and stone-ground into an ultrafine powder to keep delicate nutrients intact.
Ceremonial vs. Culinary Matcha
Ceremonial grades are from first-harvest leaves, have a smoother flavor suitable for traditional preparation, and are more expensive. Culinary grades are from later-harvest leaves, have a bolder flavor meant for mixing into recipes, and are more affordable. Both are brimming with healthy tea antioxidants.
Our Promise to You
1) To provide premium quality, authentic Japanese organic matcha at a fair value. 2) To continue to improve our quality with each year's harvest and innovate on new delicious, healthy blends and formats. 3) To stand by our products and honor our customers. If you don't have a good experience, just let us know and we'll make it right.
